Tameem and Reem is an educational and entertaining project aimed at children in the Arab world with hearing disabilities, or those who wish to communicate with them, or even those seeking to learn sign language.
Tameem and Reem is a pioneering project in the Arab world, a dream realized by Mamoun Odeh, who lost his hearing at a young age. With the help of his wife Heba and their children Tameem and Reem, Mamoun works to provide educational cartoon content in sign language for all the children in the Arab world.
Over four years, Mamoun created unique cartoon characters that move and speak in sign language to enhance communication and fun for age groups that have long needed this type of meaningful entertainment content.
The project has unlimited potential. Tameem and Reem grow every day to address the needs of childhood where hearing is absent, bringing the right to enjoy educational content that promotes communication with everyone.
Tameem and Reem are Mamoun’s gift to all deaf children and their families in the Arab world.
